I need to troubleshoot the driver's side electric window. I recently changed the motor and it will not operate. What do I need to check first.

Was it working prior to motor swap? Have you check basics? (I.E. Fuses, wire connections)

Yes, it was for about 4 mounths. You can hear the a click, sounds like there is power going to the motor. The rest of the windows are working fine.

Thanks for you help

Sounds like a binding window regulator. If fuse, wiring, switch and motor is good then regulator is all thats left. Since you say motor is indeed getting power then we know the switch, wiring and fuse is good. You also replaced motor so that is good, suspect faulty regulator.
