2001 Ford Mustang oil

My lifters were tapping on the right side so I took the car in to get check.
I was then told, the lifters were gone because no oil is making it to the left side. All the oil pressure is ok everwhere, but they don't know why oil is not getting up to the top of the left side of the motor.

Have they oil pressure tested it or ran it with coveres off to verify no oil is getting there?

Id have the main bearings checked or maybe a engine flush done because oil goes from the main bearings up and into the galleries. If thers no oil pressure then the bearings are worn or the crank is worn or the passages are plugged.
