I have been having a problem with my mustang for about a year now when it first started the check engine light would come on sometimes and go away while driving. When driving about 40 to 50 mph and hour the car will start to stumble and stutter while steadily pushing the gas. I did an OBD test on it and it read cylinder 1 misfire. So because of that I had the spark plugs and wires replaced and it still did the same thing, I had them changed about 9 months ago. Just the other day I had the coil pack replaced and the check engine light went off for 2 days and then came back on and its still doing the stuttering thing. Do have any suggestions on what could be going wrong?
-thank you Alison

P0301 next check compression and injector for no.1

Misfires can be caused by worn or fouled spark plugs, a weak spark (weak coil, bad spark plug wire), loss of compression, vacuum leaks, anything that causes an unusually lean fuel mixture (lean misfire), an EGR valve that is stuck open, dirty fuel injectors, low fuel pressure, or even bad fuel.
