I"m looking forward to buying a used 1998 Foed Mustang. However, the seller syas that the car has a transmission leak by the rear seal on the driver's side. How much would it cost to have this repaired?

HI there, if this is just a drive shaft seal, that is not a big problem, but with out seeing this first hand I can't make a definite diagnosis, if the seller is genuine, then there should not be a problem asking them if you can get this leak inspected and reported on first hand, this will give you a true indication as to the problem, but if it is just a seal, you should be able to fix it for well under $150.00 I would say.
