were is the speedometer cable located in the car and were does it start and run tooo?

No cable! All done through the wonder of electronics, if speedo is not working, or inaccurate testing of the VSS(vehicle speed sensor) and the cluster(speedo gauge) needs to be done, if you need more help with this let me know. Is the check engine light on? If code P0500 is present, replace VSS.
