1995 Ford Mustang distributor

I put new plugs and wires on my mustang and a few days later started hearing a screeching noise under the distributor. I replaced the cap and rotor button, it helped but it still makes the noise just not as long as it did.

Check for sideplay or excessive up and down movement, either would indicate the need for a new distributor, how does it run?
