Transmission problem
1993 Ford Mustang V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
I have a 1993 mustang LX. After the plasic bushing on the tv cable broke I cant get the transmission to shift right. I replaced the bushing with a brass one, so far no problrem right? Well now the transmission is not angaiging into over drive. One friend told me to adjust the cable and I did following the instruction according to the repair manual however that did not do the trick. Do I have a transmission problem now because of that? I hope not the bushing cost me only $4.50. Is a great looking car and I cant wait to go for a ride.

Thank you in advance for your help.

If all was OK before the TV cable broke, get a new cable...you will not get the adjustment right otherwise!
