1991 Ford Mustang Timing Belt help! Please!

I am currently changing the timing belt on my '91 mustang 2.3 4cyl. I have gotten everything off and the sprockets on timing marks, but can't get the belt around the crankshaft timing sprocket. I took off the front pulley of the crank, and there seems to be a part of the block that has a lip on it that makes it impossible to fit the timing belt in between to get onto the sprocket. Please help! I appreciate it, thanks!

I'm not sure by this photo, but it looks like the crank hub is still on? Have you taken the center bolt out of the crank, and removed the hub? if so I should see the crank gear?

The crank hub after the pulley? Its still on and I wasnt sure whether to take that off and if that would untime the crank gear. So that has to come off, whats the easiest way to go about doing that? An impact wrench? Thanks a lot!

Yes, that cup is the crank position sensor pickup for the ignition system. It has to come off & you'll definitely need an impact wrench. Also be careful not to damage the crank position sensor that it passes through. It'll cost you over $200 to replace.
