The passenger side power window would intermitently close (up) but never open. I pulled the motor and put it on the driver side switch. Motor was good. Swapped the known good switch to bad side, no change. Here is the weird part, if I open the driver door all the way, the passenger window works. Shut the driver door the passenger window stops. I know the passenger window switch on the driver side has to be installed in order for the passenger window to work with either switch but I have no clue how to start trouble shooting this. It might be in the wiring harness.

Try changing the power window switch it might be bad and not work correctly and also might be the power window relay. One of those 2 is going bad. Go to a junk yard and get those parts to to see if thats ur problem. Any mustang from 87 to 93 works and its the same thing.4 cylinder or 8 cylinder dont matter im not quite sure where th relay is but u can find out at a parts store or mustang forum. Good luck
