My car is making a light knocking sound while idle and makes a whining noise while accelerating

I just financed a 08 Ford Fusion and submitted a question for the same thing. My car makes a knocking or ticking when idle and a whining noise when accelerating like a off distant fire siren, I took mines to dealer and he said they just run like that and unless lights are on nothing to be concerned about.
