Electrical problem
2002 Ford Focus Two Wheel Drive Automatic

The rear passenger window suddenly just slid down into the pocket. I have taken the door panel apart to see in the inside. The window can side freely up and down if I pull it. The regulator systom looks like it is a "cable run" operation. I have never seen this thype of operation before. What do I need to replace to repair?
Also, all four windows are electric with the main control on the driver door. We bought the car used. The front 2 front window operation is good-the rear window operation does not work.- Any thoughts on that?
Thanks

Hi bixby,

Thank you for the donation.

Cable driven window regulators are quite common for most vehicles nowadays and your window regulator assy has to be replaced as it is faulty.

For the other rear door, remove the panel and check if the wiodow works when battery is applied to the window motor. Reversing the polarity works the window up or down.
