2001 Ford Focus ignition fuse (engine compartment)

The number 8 (ignition circuit) fuse in the engine compartment fuse box keeps blowing. This occurs when trying to start the car, every six or so starts. I suspect a short somewhere, but would appreciate some guidance on isolating and repairing the fault.
