Hi, my car has been shaking when im stopped at a traffic light waiting for light to change. It feels like the car is engine just shuts off.
I have recently changed my spark plugs and wires. (Thought that would have been the problem) but no. Can you tell me what other problem that would cause the car to shut off while im in drive, but stopped.

Thanks.

It could be a vacuum leak, a bad/dirty IAC valve, bad/dirty MAF sensor, bad MAP sensor, and many other things as well.

I'd start by cleaning the idle ports inside the throttle body as well as the IAC valve with throttle body cleaner; it could be all you need to do.
Even if it's not the problem, it wouldn't hurt to do it anyway since your car has 219000 miles.
While you're at it, clean the MAF sensor as well (with electronic cleaner).

Do you have any codes?

If none of the suggestions help, reply back and we'll check other things.
