Trying to refill the transmission on a 2000 Ford Focus. It is a manual transmission and I am not sure where to put the fluid in. I see what could be a fill plug on the transmission in the plastic housing that surrounds the shift cables on the transaxle on the left side of the cables about half way up in the housing. Is this the correct location, or am I looking in the wrong place? HELP!

Normally the fill plug and drain plug are located on the driver's side of tranny. Sounds like you are in the correct area. Drain plug is usually a little bit below the fill plug.

Hope this helps.
