this car 2000 ford focus has been burning out coil packs as fast as u put them in.

To better assist you is your model just the LX, SE, ZTS, ZX3. Also please tell me your engine size in liters and the 8th digit of your VIN.

Hello - If you have not accomplished a good tune up in a while, plugs, wires all of it then do so. Also check all the ground wires for very good contact. Not just at the battery but on the engine as well. Having the wrong plugs for the car can also cause this. I would also check the Power Hold Relay and ignition relay in the battery junction box. Also on the pic below, replace the ignition coil capacitor. I looked at all the TSBs and don't see anything in there about this problem.
