when I put my foot on the brake, my side lights come on this has only just started happening, please can you help me.

Does your running/tail lights turns On too with the side lights when brake is applied?

No other lights appear to come on at the rear

No experience in electrical bring it in to the pros. This one can be a bear to locate thru online. The problem is that, the brake circuit is shorted to the side marker circuit.
