Hi guys
i have a ford falcon ED 6cyl 4L 94. Iv taken it to a mechanic that has said out a few problems the main one was changing the gasket on the water pump (maybe change the pump to) its leaking onto the alternator at about 2L a week. Problem is I dont know where exactly it is and also I have no clue how to take it off. Now I have looked on the manual website your website suggested but cant find ford falcon.

i also have a noise that sounds like tapits clicking that comes on and off but the oil lv is fine, the rocker cover is leaking a small amount is it easy to change gasket?
also what is the best wait engine oil and transition oil for the car? Many many thanks

Hello

Sorry not got back to you sooner. I am not finding anything relating to that VIN # this could be because it's australian. I was hoping to cross reference to see if the it related to an american made engine? The the rocker cover gasket is a simple matter of removing the cover and old gasket. Cleaning and replacing with new gasket. Making sure it's fully seated correctly when tightening back down. The water pump repair is a bit more difficult. I have forwarded your post to our resident australian tech so he can assist you. He will contact you asap
