Engine Performance problem
1999 Ford Fairmont 6 cyl Automatic 120000 miles

I am considering doing the following to my car, but I would like to know if doing ALL of them combined will increase the power of the vehicle, I would just like to give it a bit more oomph, I'm kinda bored with it's performance.

Powerchip - I will have to run the car on 98 unleaded all the time
Headers - not sure if I should also replace catalytic converter aswell
K&N Air Filter

Your thoughts?

While I do not have any experience with your car directly.
I can generalize.

I have never talked to someone that bought any brand of "power chip" that would do it again. Maybe it's only because the un happy customers are the one that talk the most.

Headers are normally good for 5 15 horses.

K&N air filter is good for 1.5 horses.
