I have a 2002 Hurricane motorhome. It is on a Ford Chassis with a V10. When the engine gets to certain RPM's it starts to make a noise. It almost sounds like a saw cutting metal. I think it is a losse heat shield. Any ideas how to fix a heat shield?

If it is the metal cap that is crimped to the cat converter, you can simply remove it. It won;t hurt anything if it is not there. If it is the heatshelid that bolts to the frame or body, you may need to modify it with a strap to keep it from vibrating.
