1986 Ford F350

I have 1986 Ford motorhome with a 460 motor. The problem is that when you get up to about 30-40mph that the mororhome wiill start smelling really strong out the back of the motorhome, NOT a rich smell like oil, and just totally die in the middle of the road. You dont even have time to get out of the way of traffic. Almost like it is Any ideas on what to check.

I had one the same year, seems to have same symptoms. I had to replace my fuel pump. It had been sitting awhile, so I tuned it up as well. (Dist. Cap, rotor, sparkplugs, and wires. This solved my problems, and helped with power and fuel milage.
