battery

I have a 99 ford f250 superduty, 5.4liter, 145,000 miles, standard. replaced the alternator now the battery wont hold a charge.

the internal voltage regulator could be bad. sometimes even new parts are defective. Take it to a automotive store and have them check the altinator.
