I have a 2003 F250 PSD after getting home I saw a huge leak under the front of the truck. Fluid was clear, after getting underneath I noticed it was coming from the Power Steering pump. There is fluid everywhere, the pump is glossy from underneath from all the fluid. My steering is fine and I'm not hearing any noise. I checked the fluid res and it show it has fluid. Could be a pressure line or something. The leak is pretty bad.

I've just changed the fuel pump, 3 injectors and the ICP sensor which was really expensive.I'm hoping this is something I can do myself to cut costs.

I have a 4 inch lift. While driving the there is allot of free play in the wheel but alignment and tire balance are perfect. I'm running 35's so some play I quess is expected. Was going to replace the steering gear to try and relieve the slack but now I notice the leak.

Can you tell if the leak is coming from a hose or the resivour? You may have to clean everything off start it and check to see if you can tell. Chances are it is one of the hoses.

Let me know what you find.
