2001 Ford F-250 hard to turn sterring wheel

Hard to turn steering wheel. My diesel ford truck has full fluid, and no leaks in the steering pump. Also the belt is fine. What could it be the problem?

Could be the pump, some of the suspension/steering parts or the gearbox going south. One of the things is, did you make sure to use Mercon or Mercon V ATF in the power steering?

Ford DOES NOT use power steering fluid, it uses automatic transmission fluid as power steering fluid
