1997 Ford F-250 Squeaking dashboard

I notice that when I accelerate I am hearing all sorts of squeaking noises coming from the dash. Sounds like plastic running on plastic. I recently bought the truck and I tightened all the loose screws inside the cab. Didn't do any good. The squeaking is bad, real bad. Other than that, the truck runs fine, except the front gas tank is not working when I flip the switch. THanks.

You will more than likely have to remove the dash to isolate the problem, however, removing the dash without proper tools/procedures can accidently deploy an airbag, causing injury.
You could buy a Haynes manual and make sure you have tightend all the bolts/screws.
Sounds like a the plastic supports have failed due to heat or some impact from previous owner.
Call Ford and ask them if there is a TSB on this problem.
