1997 Ford F-250

This is a powerstroke diesel. It will run for a minute or two and die without sputtering. I am thinking it is electrical. Is there a fuel shut off switch on the powerstrokes.

Not that Im aware of. Ther is an injector controller that goes bad on occassion, which will cause it to shut down or not start at all. Is or has the check engine light come on when it is acting up? If so have the PCM scanned for any trouble codes that may be stored.
