I have a 1997 ford f-250 with the 460 cid gas engine. It sat up for about 6 months and now won't start. It turns over well. I do not see any spark between one of the tits on the distributor cap and any plug wire. Please help.

Take and use a spark tester at each cylinder and post back what you find.

Since that is the case you should check to see that the crank shaft sensor CKPS is functioning properly, if that is good then the problem is in the ignition module or in the coil itself.

If you would like I could explain how to do a test on a coil or you can take it in and have it checked for free at autovalue or autozone.
