Brakes problem
1996 Ford F250 V8 Two Wheel Drive Manual 100k miles

very light pressure on pedal causes brake to grab severely. Just did the rear shoes without turning drums. Had issues with one side em. Brake cable not releasing, got it loosened up. Could I have adjusted shoes too tightly?

GRABBY BRAKES Oil, grease or brake fluid on the linings will cause them to grab. The cure is to identify and eliminate the source of contamination, then replace the linings. Badly scored drums or rotors can also grab. Resurfacing may be needed.
