Transmission problem
1995 Ford F250 V8 Four Wheel Drive Manual 80k miles

The transmission jerks in the higher gears, it does not feel tight.
Is this the universal or the transfer case?
. And how can I tell?

It is going to be hard to tell a trans problem without driving the truck. Your best bet would be a trans shop. They will usually test drive it for free and give you an idea what you are looking at.
