I have a 94 F150 6 cylander with 150,000 miles. Problem is running down the road just fine, all the sudden radio cut's out. Look down and notice battery light is on. Check voltage guage and it is spiked at 18 volt's. Any ideas?

Sounds like an overcharging alternator. Check with an external meter.

It's integral, inside the alternator, did you change the battery after the fire?
