HOW DO I DETERMINE IF I NEED REARCHING OR HELPER SPRINGS ON THE REAR OF MY 91 F-150?

If your truck is sitting level without a load on it, then it must have been worked hard in its life. You could have the springs re-arched, I would have a couple extra leafs added. It may be cheaper to swap those sissy springs out with some that came from an F-250. 1000 pounds should set your truck a little below level.
