What should the labor cost of replacing just the exhaust manifold, and some minor exhaust repairs run me on a 1986 ford f-150 straight 6 if I supply the gaskets and parts for doing so?

If you have the gaskets, I would recommend replacing the exhaust manifold yourself. It's not that hard at all. As far as the exhaust repairs, how extensive is the damage/wear to the exhaust?

Have to cut the exhaust off 6-7'' from the manifold connection, add a doughnut gasket in (cause the other manifold doesn't have the flange built in) and add a sleeve over the pipe and weld/or clamp back together then replace the air valve and tube that hooks to the catal. Converter. And that's it as far as I can see?[/B]
