Oil in breather

I have a 2003 Ford F-150 with a 4.2L engine and 53,000 miles. The engine sounds great and there is no engine light on but I noticed that motor oil is coming out of the breather (air filter and canister). What could be causing this?

Either plugged up PCV system, or a PCV system that can't keep up with the amount of blowby the engine is producing. Guessing that your engine is still tight because of the low miles, I would say the PCV valve is probably plugged up.
