There is gas leaking out of it quite profuesly when the truck is running there is two fuel lines from both tanks going to it.

If you know what it is what would cause it ot leak and is there just a gasket that can be replaced in it like it unscrews or does the whole part have to be replaced?

A filter? If it's rotted thru, replace it!

So there could be 3 filters on the fuel delivery system?

This one is about 3-4 feet back from the fuel filter

I talked to them not even the ford dealer carries/can order it!

I dont use front tank ever anyways has a hole and the pump is shot in the front tank.

Was wonderin if I could go from back tank bypass the valve and go strait to fuel filter as it is close enough for a simple splice.

Was just wondering if that would harm the system in anyway or what

I have a few pieces of coated steel gas line that I can have my friend cut them and crimp those collar things on to place in between it would be a solid secure splice I think
