I have a 1993 F-150 with 165,000 miles on a 302 motor.I run a self test on it because of poor fuel mileage. The test said egr valve closed high voltage can you tell what this means?

What code number did you get? What type of egr system do you have?

The computer is complaining about the EGR sensor.

Double check the EGR sensor wiring and connections.
The EGR valve diaphragm could be punctured.
The sensor itself could be bad.

Those are a few suggestions. I hope this helps.
