Hi, I parked my truck for the day, came out the next morning and went to put it into drive and it won't shift, nothing, I cannot go anywhere from park, my abs light is flashing, More info: when I push my breaks my back lights do not illuminate, so there must be something wrong in the break line? I'm not sure

Ok so Fuse13 was blown and the looks like the problem, I went and bought a new one and went to put it in and it sparked and blew back out, I talked to the auto parts store and he said there could be a short, so if I unplug my battery do you think that will help and I can get the new one in with out it blowing up, if not then what do I do?

Thanks for the help, but its been solved, there is a re-call:
Reference: Ford Recall 05S28
(Speed Control System Modification)

As a result of several engine compartment fires Ford recalled multiple (3.8 million) vehicles under NHTSA/Ford Recall number 05S28 to replace a wiring harness. The retrofit was to be completed in November of 2005. All owners/users of these vehicles were to go to their local Ford dealer to register for the recall and have the cruise control circuit wiring disconnected until replacement parts could be installed.

Since that time, the following letter has been issued by Ford Service Engineering Operations Director Frank M. Ligon

So I unplugged it and put the new fuse in and bringing the vechicle to the dealership tomorrow.

Thanks!
