Throttle pedal position sensor need to be replaced

When I press the gas pedal the engine revs up but when I let off the gas pedal it takes a second or two for the motor to throttle down is this throttle position sensor need to be replaced

Here is the instructions on how to replace the throttle position sensor it is easy because it is plug and play. Check out the diagrams (Below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.

The best way I have found is to take agood throttle body cleaner and wash the whole air intake all the little airways. I would let it set for about 10 mins after spraying down so it has time to work. I hope this helps
