My wife was driving the truck, called me and said the trucks low oil pressure alarm went off and the truck lost all power and left her stranded. She said b/f that happened the truck started shuttering and running horably. Now the truck will turn over, but will not start. As soon as the ignition is on the low oil pressure alarm sounds. There is no water in the oil, and no oil in the water. Is my engine just shot or can it be fixed?

Have you checked to make sure the oil sending unit isn't bad. It will shut the engine down if the computer thinks there is no oil pressure. Do me a favor. Check to see if you are getting spark and fuel to the engine.

Check that and let me know what you find. Also, see if it will start for a few seconds with starting fluid.
