Well I just resently started hearing a cracking noise comeing from the bottom of my truck sometimes when I first start it up not all the time but as soon as I start it up you can hear the noise and then it go's away I think it might be the oil pump bcus when my mechanic did the last oil change and he started the engine the truck made the same noise but for a longer period of time. So just wondering if it is the oil pump or if it is something else. Thanx for the help

No only on some start ups. When the truck is already kind of warm it wont do it or after the first start up I could turn it off and turn it back on and it will not do it, I guess is only at first when the oil is down thats why im guessing it is the oil pump
