when truck is started head lights come on and head light mode switch is off. when engine is turned off lights go off after a couple of minutes. when driving lights will eventually go off.at night when you turn headlights on and end the drive the lights will not go off when head light switch is turned to the off position, but go off after a few minutes. Yes I have auto lamp feature, no I do not have daytime running lamps. By daytime running lamps do you mean lights on top of the cab roof?

Check the headlamp relay, it's located behind and on top of the glove box, In auxiliary relay box 3 here's a trouble shoot list.
