I heard that if your guages go all the way over to the right ( the tach, speedometer, etc) when you start the engine, then they return to their proper point, that you may have the beginning to a problem. Either a weak battery or something else ready to go out. My truck has become increasingly harder to start, and when it does, the needles on the guages do go all the way over to the right, then return. Is this an indication that something is ready to take a dump ?

Id always believed its a normal operation for the gauges to do so
I would suggest checking it for tune up and fuel filter as your mileage shows its due for one if you have not done one yet
any check engine light on with engine running
and if so scan for codes

need manual CHECK IT @
