2002 Ford F150 oil pressure light on??

oil pressure light is on, tested oil pressure and its good. why else would this light be on? recently i thought i blew my engine but it was my timing chain that was damaged. the day my truck stop running i notice that the oil pressure light when on and the needle was going haywire. what could be the problem??? please help!!!

If the oil pressure is within specs-check and test the oil pressure switch/sensor
