When driving home at night from work, the headlights will flicker off really quick. If your not paying really close attention you will not see it. It will occasionally do it when i step on the brake pedal also. W ould like to get fixed before they shut off and dont come back on.

When you say flicker off, do you mean they go completely off? Or do they just pulsate and dim then brighten back out?

This is usually a sign of corroded battery terminals, seeing as how it does it when you apply the brakes (which is causing more lights to be on).

Clean the battery terminals and make sure they are tightened, post your results and I will follow up.

You should also go ahead and have that battery and alternator tested (for free) at a local auto parts store such as AutoZone or O'Reilly Auto Parts.
