2001 Ford F-150 maintaing vehicle

I got a ford truck it has over 100k miles on it and I was wondering what to do to keep it running for a while

The best thing I could suggest is just keeping to a very strict maintenance routine such as changing engine oil and filter at regular intervals. If you make alot of short trips(under 15 minutes) change it a thousand miles earlier than normal. Also switching to a full synthetic motor oil would be good. Servicing the diferential and transmission as well at specified intervals.
I strongly recommend getting a chilton manual for your truck as it has the specified intervals for all routine maintenance.
Also if your mechanically inclined it gives detailed instructions on how you can do most maintenance yourself
