Noises problem
2001 Ford F150 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive 121000 miles

My horn started blowing uncontorllabley off and on so i disconnected the wiring to the horn. I could not find fuse to the horn and was wondering why this would happen? It started after blowing the horn at another car. Not disconnecting the fuse, will it cause any other damage to the truck?

You should insulate the power supply wire to the horn with electrical tape so it doesn't short.

As far as the problem, chances are it is in the steering wheel. You will need to remove the cover to see where it is shorting.

Let me know if you have questions.
