When braking, I am getting a very large wobble from the front end. My Ford dealer told me the front brakes and rotors need to be replaced - this will be the 3rd set of front brakes! - my local repair shop told be the brakes and rotors are fine and that the idler & pitman arms have to be replaced. The dealer replaced my idler arm in December 2006. Any suggestions?

From your description of what is happening I would suspect the brake rotors
