2000 Ford F150 V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

wHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM MY MOTOR STILL HAS A SLIGHT MISS TO IT, I HAD IT TO THE DEALER WITH CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON DID THE TEST AND #8 CYL NOT FIRING PUT NEW COIL ON LIGHT WENT OUT BUT TRUCK STILL HAD A MISS COULD THIS BE JUST A BUILD UP OF RAW FUEL IN THAT CYL?
ANY IDEA? ANYBODY? ALL NEW PLUGS HAVE BEEN PUT IN ALSO

No it's not leftover fuel. All the fuel is well out of the system.

Personally, I would just go back since they did not do the job properly, unless of course this is an un-related issue. With the vehicle mis-firing I would run a cylinder balance test to determine which cylinder is acting up, then go from there.

When does it mis-fire? Under load? Idle? Cruise?

The miss has left, and it came underload. But I think what I was blaming as a miss is somthing else
when I am driving down the road and come to a hill the motor lugs down and starts to jerk it isnt shifting out of overdrive as fast as it should if I use the button on the gear selector and manually take it out of overdrive the truck drops to drive the revs come up and the jerk stops.
Has me puzzled.
