2000 Ford F150 ball joints and tie rod ends

I had my truck in for new tires and allignment and was told that the truck could not be aligned due to worn out ball joints. I have no problem performing this myself. My question is this: Since I am already in there should I replace the tie rod ends? They are OEM.
