My '99 f-150 AC started smelling like hot antifreeze a couple of weeks ago when it was on max cool. Then last week it started blowing a light vapor out the AC vents upon acceleration, same smell. This happens after it gets up to running temp. There s no fluid leaking on the floorboard in the passenger compartment. The temp gauge never gets past half way. Any thoughts?
Thanks

Sounds to me like a issue with the heater core sounds like it went bad and is now leaking antifreeze on its hot surface and causing it to evaporate and then come out smelling like that.

Doesnt take much of a leak.
