1998 Ford F-150 Slips in forward gear but not in reverse

With no warning my transmission slips in forward if I rev it up enough it finally gets moving but reverse is fine. The fluid is full still redish pink and doesn't smell burnt. Any ideas

Does it slip in all gears or just certain one.

Ya it slips in all gears L 2 3 and OD just reverse is good.

If it is slipping in all gears, chances are it needs rebuilt. In this case (if no check engine light has come on) I think a trans tech needs to drive it. It could be a bad trans control module, but that should have set the check engine light.
