I can jump across the soleniod with a screwdriver and the motor will start. Are their more than one solenids and if so were are is the other? How do I change the one on the starter, do I have to pull the starter?

If you're referring the solenoid that you short out with the screwdriver as the starter relay and it cranks the engine over-check and test the transmission range switch and ignition switch.
